The playful Lamine Yamal is back.

The Clásico rivalry doesn’t end with the final whistle. Spats between players from both sides are common, and when one team wins, they seize the moment to boast or settle old scores. That’s exactly what happened a day after Barça’s title win between Lamine Yamal and Jude Bellingham.
The Barça star posted an Instagram story showing himself celebrating one of his goals in his team’s victory, along with the text “Talk is cheap” and seven crying emojis.

This is a direct response to something that happened months earlier, specifically on October 26, 2025, after the first league Clásico, where Real Madrid beat Flick’s side 2-1. Following that match, Jude Bellingham posted a photo on Instagram with the caption: “Talk is cheap. ¡Hala Madrid siempre!”
It’s worth remembering that those words from the Real Madrid Englishman were seen at the time as a message aimed directly at Lamine.
That match at the Santiago Bernabéu took place just after the Barça No. 10 had made controversial comments during an appearance on the Kings League’s ‘Chup Chup’ show.
“Would you say Porcinos is Madrid, right?” he was asked. Lamine’s indifferent reply: “Yes, they steal, they complain…” These words, made in a joking context, reached Real Madrid’s dressing room and caused significant tension in the following days.
Months after all that happened, the Barça youth product decided to return the favor to Bellingham by repeating that “Talk is cheap” line.

Aside from a couple of incidents, the Clásico at the Spotify Camp Nou didn’t have many tense moments. It was a surprisingly calm match for a meeting between these two sides. The hosts came out with much more intensity, and Real Madrid were never able or willing to match their level.
