India has held on to the No. 1 position in the latest ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings following the annual update released on Monday. However, their advantage over second-placed New Zealand has been trimmed from eight points to five. India’s rating dipped by one point to 118, while the Black Caps gained two points to move up to 113.
Despite the slight decline, India remains the world’s leading ODI side and continues to dominate white-ball cricket, having also retained the top spot in the men’s T20I rankings in last week’s update. Australia, the reigning ODI world champions, hold third place with an unchanged rating of 109. The biggest shift inside the top five came from South Africa, who climbed past Pakistan into fourth position.
